…focus on functional movement, where poses (asana) are connected, helping us with everyday movement, rather than simply making aesthetically pleasing shapes. Our bodies are a source of amazing wisdom; a truth that is being reinforced by new medical discoveries and anatomical research. If we learn to listen to our body, we often know what is best for it. However, with so much noise and conflicting theories competing in the media, we often doubt ourselves and fail to take the time to be still and allow ourselves to be led by our intuition.
My classes provide you with the space to listen to your own body so that you can challenge it safely and move in the way that feels best to you. Each body is unique, so accepting yours as it is right now, without judgement is what matters; celebrating all you can do and not focusing on what you can’t.
